Summary:

This fiction duet is different.

In Origins, we will follow the fall of Cybertron, the beginnings of the war, the current Autobots & Decepticons, and each of the integral mechs that make up each faction. What bought them there, and how and why did they make these choices in their life? How does that lead them to their future, and ultimately to Devastations.

In Devastations, we jump to after the war has been won. The Autobots won, but at a steep, too-dangerous price. How high is to high? Can the centre hold? How far can the victors fall? What can one, single mech do, in the face of their changed world?

They are being written together; it is a symbiotic, cyclic piece. Each will be updated in conjunction with the other.

This is a separate continuity to Crash Into You!


Origins

Chapter One: “This is fun,” Wheeljack chirped, his flashing audial fins and twinkling optics further irritating his friend and coworker. “Isn’t this fun?”

Chapter Two: Sentinel Prime spoke. “We cannot secure the region without assuming total control over the entire area. We have been fighting the rebels in random pockets of attacks and engagements stretched across four city-states. As soon as we beat back one pocket, another flares up, even larger than before.” Sentinel Prime paused, his optics meeting Megatron’s once more. “We need the power to completely crush this rebellion within their own community.”

Devastations

Chapter One: Prowl was suddenly too tired, tired of it all, in every frame-weary bolt in his body. He wanted to stop, to just simply stop, stop everything. Stop his thinking. Stop his breathing. Stop his spark.
