Prowl helps Jazz with an undercover mission on Cybertron, but ends up revealing more than he conceals. Sideswipe is shocked, but Prowl is more so. The ramifications of this slip change both of their lives dramatically.


Chapter One: Sideswipe shouted out in pain as his backplating scrapped roughly against the decking, then again as the chain dug into his armor even tighter, biting through his plating. He stared, lipplates quivering in shock and fear as he stared upwards, the long, dark shadow of his captor stretching over his body. “Please…” he whispered again.

Chapter Two: Sideswipe gasped, choking for air as Barricade’s fingers clenched around his neck cables. His hands flew to Barricade’s grip, trying to peel off the fingers crushing his gears. He flinched, catching the harsh swing off Barricade’s rising fist out of the corner of his optic. Something was terribly, horribly wrong. Prowl wasn’t pretending. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

Chapter Three: Wheeljack stared down at Sunstreaker as the golden twin inhaled deeply, then stilled. He was focusing inwards, trying to reach out with his thin spark connection to his twin. It was their best lead to find Sideswipe, and hopefully on the way, Prowl. Or Barricade. Whomever he was now.
